Sad Demise of M.K. Naik:----------------------------
Noted Indian English writer and acclaimed critic Dr.M.K.Naik passed away last month.

सलणा-या अनेक वेल्हाळ वेळा खुणावत असतात माणसाला ।
पण का कुणास ठाऊक ती दुखरी आर्त वेदना ग्रेसांच्या ओल्या वेळूच्या
बासरीतूनच मुखरीत होते ।
नाजुक संवेदनांना अलगदपणे शब्दाँच्या चिमटीत घेणे हेच तर कवितेचं
खरं सौंदर्यस्थळ असतं ।
एखाद्या कलेवरात प्राण फुंकल्यावर चैतन्याचा निर्झर जसा ओसंडून
वाहतो तसा कविताकामिनीचा विलास मनात रेँगाळत राहतो ।
गालिब , कबीर , कालिदास . रिल्के , जिब्रान , भास व तुकारामादि
अवलियांनी हाच तर धागा पकडला .
कवी अलेक्झांडर पोप ज्याला

म्हणतो.
कवी आपल्या अनवानीपनाचं श्रेय असं कुणालाही वाटत फिरत नाही तर
ती दुखरी वेदना खोलवर रुजवत असतो ।
"रिस रहा है खून दिलसे लब मगर हसते रहे ।
कर गया बरबाद मुझको ये हुनर कहना उसे।"
मेहंदी हसनची ही गझल अजूनही याच संवेदनेला फुँकर घालतेय ।
मेंदूत हिंडणा-या या फुलपाखराला चिमटीत पकडावं म्हणतोय .
पण कसं?

World Conference on Science Fiction Studies in India at Bharati Vidyapeeth
Life is taking new turns every day.On 1st and 2nd February our College Bharati Vidyapeeth's Yashwantrao Mohite College, Pune hosted First World Conference on Science Fiction Studies in India on the occasion of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Bharati Vidyapeeth. It was a great sucess. ISRO's Strategic Mentor Padmashree Y S Rajan delivered Key note Address.
I anchored two sessions: One of them is chaired by noted Marathi Science Fiction Writer Shri Niranjan Ghate. It was an excellent experience. I also Anchored The Valedictory Session.
Our HOD Dr. Zirange and Dr. Rankhambe sir gave me the exposure.

I QUALIFIED NET EXAM
I am indeed pleased to tell all my blog readers that i qualified NET Exam in English. It was a necessary evil as they say and i have cracked it. It is the grace of God and of Dnyaneshwar Maharaj(Mauli) and i want to remain indebted to them.
More Interstingly i have just been to 7days Delhi on the sponsered Visit by the Department of English of Our Department. I have given a lecture on John Donne's Poetry to the Postgraduate students of Bharati Vidyapeeth's Delhi Campus. In that visit i have met Dnynpeeth Lauret Prof .Dr. Satyavrat Shastri, a world reknown sanskrit writer. It was indeed previledge to be with him for three hours and discussion in sanskrit.
Hereafter i will b concentrating on spreading of Sanskrit Language and Warkari Literature with the help of English Language. May God shower his unabounding Grace.
At this juncture i want to specially mention the love and care of Dr.Shirish Chindhade. He is the man who invented me. He was with me all the while.i can not thank him enough as he is the fatherly figure for me.A real "God Father". The Help of Dr. Vivekanand Rankhambe who was with me in my bad times and helped me every now and then to concentrate on Net exam studies in hectic schedule of Bharathi Vidyapeeth. Our Head of the Department Dr.R.S.Zirange who was also with me to support. When i am working here i have the feeling of working in my Family.
Special mention is also necssary of the two towering personalities Shri. Shrinwas Deshmukh and Mr.Ramesh Ghotikar of Vidyarthi Sahayak Samiti who were like local guardians of mine. Hundreds of students of Samiti and wellwishers of mine is the only asset i have.
Since two years i have been preparing for this exam with my two friends: Shreekant Susar and Shreeniwas Pawar. Both of them already qulified Net and Set respectively. I was under crushing weight of passing this exam. The circumstances were not favourable and even nearest and dearest people had stareted to depart. The Grace of Mauli was always with me and still it is showering on me with its benign sanctity.
Interestingly, my friend Shreekant had dreamt that i have qulified the exam before three days of declaration of the result. I think Patience is the most valuable asset one should possess. As Milton Said :
"They also serve who only stand and wait."
My entire family and all my Samiti Friends have received my result with utmost joy.
Now i am ready to do research in my favourite field like Indian culture, Sanskrit Language and Literature Foreign Languages, Marathi,Urdu gazals,Warkari Literature, Kirtan Pravachana and all other things.
God is Great.!

Delhi Visit on the Cards
I am indeed pleased to announce all my blog readers that I am going to Delhi by aeroplane.
This Visit is sponsored by Dept. of English, Yashwantrao Mohite College, Pune, especially Dr. Viviekanand Rankhambe is instrumental for the same.
JNU Central University Library Visit and the purchase of books of Rs. 30,000/- is expected.
I am going to live at Bharati Vidyapeeth's Delhi Campus "Paschim Vihar". I am very much excited for this visit.
